Adopstar becomes title sponsor of Cullompton Rangers Football Club

CULLOMPTON, DEVON – Cullompton-based advertising and marketing agency Adopstar has just signed on as the official sponsor of the Cullompton Rangers Football Club. Speeds Meadow, where the club is situated, will now be known as Adopstar Park.

The story of Cullompton Rangers began in 1945 and the club has an established legacy of being an important part of the local community. While Adopstar only opened its doors in 2010, the company has quickly gained a reputation for being community-minded and passionate about local sports development. “The partnership between Adopstar and the Cullompton Rangers Football Club is a natural extension of the contribution we have made towards local sports,” explained Adopstar’s managing director, Theresa Benson. “During the last year, we have sponsored shirts for the under-18 Cullompton Rangers Football Club and organised and sponsored the rebranding of the rugby posts at the Cullompton Rugby Football Supporters Club.”

Cullompton’s football community is a vibrant and active one, with numerous teams in the area. The first team plays in the South West Peninsula East Division, while the second team plays in the Devon and Exeter Football League. In addition, the Cullompton Rangers have set up various youth teams for players ranging from six to 16 years of age. The club itself consists of four football pitches with a clubhouse and a magnificent set of changing room facilities that were built in 2010.

The club also has a healthy social component, and the main hall of the newly christened Adopstar Park hosts a wide variety of functions. Going forward, the Adopstar team will work hand in hand with the Cullompton Rangers committee to make residents of Cullompton aware of what the football club is and encourage them to visit, get involved and make use of the facilities on offer in every way possible.

The Adopstar team would like to acknowledge the remarkable contributions of Marcus Scott, who has, until recently, been the general secretary and groundsman for the Cullompton Rangers Football Club. It is thanks to his vision and efforts that the club is such a tremendous asset to the Cullompton community.

Adopstar’s apprenticeship programme is named among the best

CULLOMPTON, Devon –  Adopstar, a Cullompton-based agency providing ad operations and marketing services to companies in the region, around the UK and around the world, was recently placed second in the Apprenticeships Top 50 SME Employers in the UK competition.

Judges considered a variety of factors in making their decision, including companies’ commitment to employing apprentices, their creation of new apprenticeships, the diversity of the apprenticeship programmes on offer and the number of apprentices who progress further within a company after the completion of their initial apprenticeship.

According to Adopstar’s managing director, Theresa Benson, Adopstar’s management team has been committed to growing the company through apprenticeships ever since they first opened their doors in 2010. “Teaching young people everything they need to know to succeed in marketing and advertising is a passion of ours,” explained Benson. “Our apprenticeship programme is growing from strength to strength and we have had 11 apprentices begin their journey with us so far in 2022.”

To this, Benson added that Adopstar’s apprenticeship programme stands out for several reasons. “There is no specific qualification for ad operations, and we thus work closely with training providers to ensure that the material our apprentices cover is relevant and comprehensive. Move over Universal Analytics – here comes GA4

If you’re a Google Analytics user, get ready to say your goodbyes to Universal Analytics. The search engine is rolling out GA4, and by the second half of 2023, the future of Google Analytics  will be in full use. The move to the fourth generation of Google Analytics will offer you numerous benefits, including easier access to various features, less need to be an adept coder and a more holistic view of your customers’ journey with your brand. Here are a few things you should know about GA4.

Event-based analytics rather than session-based stats

With GA4 comes a shift from session-based analytics to event-based analytics. This means easy access to metrics about events like video plays and button clicks. The philosophy is that page views are not the only metrics that matter – it’s about every step of your customer’s journey with your website, app and brand as a whole. In Google’s words, GA4 is designed to give marketers “a more complete understanding of the customer journey across devices”. Rather than focusing on individual metrics, it looks at an end-to-end customer journey.

Boasting new features and overcoming privacy challenges
